Welcome Aboard Elaine! I enjoyed reading your post.
We had so much fun going to the movies last Wednedsday that I am going to try to make a habit of it. So, once a month look for an email about catching a chick flick. Hopefully something interesting will be playing at the Fleur Theatre soon.
We went up to Ames on Sunday to visit Emily and Zach. They are fine. Steve had not seen Emily's apartment yet and he was very impressed with how much space they have. Naomi seems to have adjusted very well. She is getting more attention and excercise than we could give her here. We went to the Fuju resturant for dinner and it was very good. Ames has so many interesting resturants that we plan to go up once a month and go out to dinner.
Emily got a job with a church daycare. The hours are pretty minimal so she is still looking for work.
We did hear from Nate. They slept right through the earthquake and heard about on the TV the next morning. They are south of Wellington on the North Island. If they can catch transportation to the South Island, they will help with the recovery effort. We have not been able to skype with them yet.
If you are ever bored and need something interesting to do - google gal pals. Who knew???
Looking for a good book? I got this one from the library: Eat Cake by Jeanne Ray. I can't wait to try some of the recipes.
