Hi GPs,
It's been a laid back Labor Day weekend. Picked up Audrey with my mom on Friday and had lunch in Ames at The Cafe. It's a fantastic place to eat next time you get to Ames. Brian and I headed to Indianola Friday evening for the football game which Valley won 38-0 after an ugly start. Saturday, Julie was able to walk our entire 6 miles route for the first time since her injury. I was very proud of her and hope she's not too sore today. We made one of Audrey's favorite meals last night and had a nice family dinner on the porch - it was a beautiful evening. In honor of seeing Eat, Pray, Love with Cindy and Beth this week, I made sure to open a bottle of red wine I gave Brian for a gift a while back to have with our roast. Today we had lunch at Fuddrukkers before heading to see The American. It was "interesting" but I can't recommend it. This is my first try at posting so I'll close now and see if this works. Bye.
